Sleber?

Rebels, where you at?

Libyan combat boots with velcro for laces blew up a city concentrated with rebels.

Libya's third largest city, the only rebel stronghold in the west of the country, has been under a punishing siege by Gaddafi's forces for seven weeks. Hundreds have died. The voice of the rebels reported three rebels announced dead and 17 attacks leaving others wounded in the last day or two. War kept alive by the afternoon sun, and explosions of gun powder acting as background music. There's shit on the streets like bits of buildings, fucked, shot out cars and broken glass. There's even a few bedframes. What the hell?

Libyan state television said NATO forces had struck a part of Tripoli, killing seven people and wounding 18 others. NATO said the target was a military command bunker and forces later went south killing or wounding several people in
Gharyan. Lybian TV spoke, and NATO shut up.

Another NATO official told Reuters on Thursday: "We want to maintain and increase pressure on the frontline units but the biggest risk in doing that is civilian casualties.

What happens when they figure out that there's such thing as a "human shield?"

Change.

The world has changed quite a bit. I think that Obama being today's president says something. But not just that part of my world has changed.

The Giants won the World Series. The earthquake in Japan, Chile, gay rights, equal rights, worker's rights, right-wing extremists in TX changing 200 years of history, more youtube, Lady Gaga, Birthers (Fucking Birthers..) and the list goes on. But the thing I'm getting to here today, is Libya, and just revolution in general. (I know, I know, always talking about revolution. But it really will happen!)

My question for whoever you are out there, is this:

If change is constant, are there different stages of change itself? Is there a beginning or an ending point?

Think about it for a second.

The journey to change, or through change doesn't really have a destination. This month's headlines consist of "Egyptian political reform", "revolution" here, there, this that. But have we taken a second to really see what this all means?

I believe that anything is possible. But the headlines we claim are definitely misleading. The media has been taken over by their contributors, sponsors, and the government. Why do you think FOX is so successful? Let me tell you that there is a difference between NEWS and OPINION. It's just that Fox conveniently leaves pages blank for you to fill. What is opinion becomes news. That's what we call, a conservative take over. Be careful world, you're getting brainwashed in ways you can't even imagine.

This system is absolutely corrupt. Don't even get me started on the JFK shooting. I'll give you an earful. Or I suppose in this case an eyeful.

Anyways, the news has been twisted to what this Big Brother wants you to know. What Big Brother feels is acceptable for the masses to know. We are the majority. Go get educated.

More conspiracy theories to come.

America as Hypocrites

Listen to the latest Democrat commentary on Libya. They only spit words backing up Obama, justifying everything. Mostly bouncing off the lack of support for Bush.
Now listen to the Latest Republican commentary. Saying shit like "there's no real exit strategy" or whining about how bad the timing is. Let me just intervene with a question for the GOP, when the fuck is it good timing for invasion or war?
You can definitely see both parties rooting for THEIR guy and bashing the OTHER guy.

Of course the main reason for this double standard shit is because if you claim a party, and most of what comes with it rather than the other, you have to be pure. (What the hell about politics is pure?!) You have to overlook things and have tunnel vision for your party and your loyalty. This kind of hypocrite is not in very high demand, but the supply is overflowing. Of course you can't really have the same standards for everyone. We're humans, we have favorites, we lean to one side more than the other. But because we're humans, our politics reflects our lack of perfection. American politics is an example of a lack of fucking excellence. American hypocritical politics is no nothing new, just on the rise. Why not just follow your GUT and screw the rest? Oh yeah, I forgot that American politics isn't really politics, it's a STAGE. Take your rolls, everyone! Bush, Palin, did you forget your lines again?

All I know is that Republicans, right-wing extremists, whatever..are ridiculously shameless. They know that their followers are stupid. Hey, whatever right? They'll just keep watching FOX and listening to Limbaugh. While grassroots activists wipe blood and sweat from their brows. Who's who?
